
The Reverend Edward Leche
Vicar
Fr. Edward Leche (pronounced “Lesh”) is the Vicar of the Gathering. He shares ministry with his wife Susanna and together they have 3 adult children. Edward was born and raised in Friday Harbor, WA in the San Juan Islands where his parents served the Episcopal mission there from 1967 to 1988. Fr. Edward began his professional career as a commercially licensed pilot, mostly giving flight instruction and flying freight and charter. More recently, he has worked 24 years as an IT professional. Fr. Edward also serves his Bishop as the Canon Missioner for the Diocese of Cascadia. Fr. Edward enjoys time with his family at their family home on San Juan Island and backpacking the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

Bryan Brown
Music
Raised in Austin, Texas, Bryan has served Anglican churches as a Worship Pastor for the last 20 years. Bryan studied at Trinity School for Ministry outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received his Master of Divinity in 2005. Bryan also serves as an executive leader at Masterworks, a marketing firm that partners with Christian ministries. Bryan, his wife Rachel, and three daughters Beatrice, Leona, and Harriet live on a farm in Kingston.

Mission Council
Lay Leadership Team
The Mission Council partners with the Vicar to provide direction, council, and support for the ongoing work of The Gathering. Its members are leaders selected from within The Gathering and serve for multi-year terms. The Mission Council and Vicar convene regularly throughout the year for prayer, discernment, and planning.
